Pentedattilo

1 Vista Pentedattilo

The old village of the Calabrian-Greek area is located 250 meters from the sea and enjoys a splendid view of Sicily and Mount Etna. The “ghost village” is named after the characteristic rock formation that overlooks the city and is reminiscent of the five fingers of one hand. Also referred to as the Devil’s Hand, Pentedattilo is both village and legend, the most famous of which is the Massacre of the Alberti Family.
All of this contributes to rendering this fascinating place full of mystery and one of the most distinctive locations in the Calabrian-Greek area.
